Wednesday 17th January MY
BIRTHDAY
I woke up this morning and told mum and Dad that "when i wake
up it is going to be my birthday" And It was. I am 4 today. There
are balloons and all kinds of decorations up in the lounge and even
a big pile of presents. I opened the biggest and shiniest ones first
which was great, although it did lead to a certain amount of disappoinment
when I got to the socks in the last package - even though they were
furry socks. I did several dances of joy when I opened my hot wheels,
cars and superman toys though. SUPERMAN!!! AT LAST!!!
In the
afternoon I went to the soft play area with Mum and had a great time.
When evening came it was time to have a lovely party. There was lots
of delicious foods of all my favourite sorts and a fabulous birthday
cake that everyone helped make in the shape of a train. Lovely. I
am exhausted.
In other
very sad news this is my very last diary entry. I am 4 now and I have
to eat my beans. I hope I'll get the occasional mention in Paul's
diary though. But now I am officially a big boy, and NOT a baby.
Tuesday 16th January
I'm getting very excited, because as everyone knows tomorrow is my
birthday and Peter has been whispering very loudly about certain secrets
which he is party to. I am not, but I have been ignoring everyone
and just sitting patiently, waiting until tomorrow. First I was ONE
then I was TWO, then I was THREE and NOW I will be FOUR.
Monday 15th January
Before my diary finishes in a couple of days :( I'd like to make sure
everyone is aware of my night time routine of goodnights with Mum.
Sunday 14th January
Today we went for a bike ride in the freezing cold weather. It was
sunny though which made up for it. I had q really good go on the swimng
and made Dad push me higher and higher. He pushed me a bit too high
though and I bit my tongue. In two places. One bite on each side.
It really is about time that my stabilisers came of my bike though
- I think I'm just about ready for it. There were no conkers and I
was a little tiny bit sad about that.
Saturday 13th January
I made a lovely chocolate cake today. BUT I made it under the impression
that I would be the main one who would be eating it. Imagine my horror
when we gave it away to our new neighbours. I suppose they were kind
enough to bring me a piece, but I was still very sad about it.
Friday 12th January
There is no news today.
Thursday 11th January
I had a lot of fun today at school with the dinosaur model and the
dinosaur bones. I buried the bones in the sand tray. My teacher asked
Mum to come in and have a look at what I had been doing and I told
her all about digging up the bones of the dinosaur. She said I was
just like a... but she forgot the word. I told her I was an archaeologist.
She was going to say something about the backyardigans.
Wednesday 10th January
I was a little bit cross this morning because Peter wasn't very well
and for a moment it looked as if he wouldn't be going to school. This
would have meant that I would have had to have gone on my own while
Peter stayed at home and had all kinds of fun. Clearly this was not
on. Luckily for me there was no room at the doctors so Peter had to
go to school.
Tuesday 9th January
I had to go back to school today which was rubbish. I definately did
NOT want to go. I much prefer lounging around at home. At least I
get to lounge around in the afternoons though.
I wore
my special train driver hat in the afternoon. It's the one with ear
flaps. I will wear my special red hat when I turn into a train driver.
The ear flaps are for when I don't want to listen to anyone that's
talking to me.
Monday 8th January
It was very rainy today so we had to have a whole day inside. We made
some delicious biscuits in the afternoon and I ate a lot of dough.
Dough that made me feel sick.
Sunday 7th January
I am going to make an extra special effort to be really good so that
some nice things can go in my diary because there are only ten days
left of it. It is stopping when I am four. Today, rather than describing
myself as naughty I prefer to use the term moody and interesting.
I did
go with Mum to the shops though and while I was away Dad put together
the racing game and I played it until the whizzing cars made me tired.
Saturday 6th January
There is not much news today.
Friday 5th January
There is no news today.
Thursday 4th January
I did not sleep very well last night - mostly because Dad kept trying
to put me back into my own bed. It really is so much warmer in his
one.
Wednesday 3rd January
I am really still on holiday and today I have been really busy wearing
my headphones and doing drawings. I really want Dad toget the racing
game out, but he says it's only for when he is around to help us.
Tuesday 2nd January
I found some headphones today so I wore them for most of the afternoon.
There wasn't any music coming out them - I just thought that they
looked nice and I told Mum it was so I didn't have to hear what anyone
was saying to me.
Monday 1st January
Today was a sad day because our house is a bit mouldy,
so everywhere smells like a swimming pool. The exciting news is that
we are going to have to have some builders. I hope they will bring
a digger.
