Sunday 30th September
Today was a very good day for playing with Esther and bringing her lots of special gifts to play with. Some of the gifts were peas from last night's tea that had had hidden all around the place. In the afternoon I took her shopping.

Saturday 29th September
There is an Esther in our house and I have gone very shy. I lay down on dad's lap and did not even move or look at her for about 20 minutes. he I decided that she was ok really and that she should be my best friend. She is my best friend.

Friday 28th September
Today I have been enjoying doing a lot of talking. They are mostly noises of course, but since my helper came and helped me I have been experimenting with lots of noises.

Thursday 27th September
There is no news today.

Wednesday 26th September
Someone came to the house today to listen to me talk. She asked me a lot of questions. I didn't really wish to answer.

Tuesday 25th September
Today I was a bit grumbly in the morning and Peter decided to start to call me Super Grumpy Paul. This is some kind of joke I think.

Monday 24th September
I am becoming very expert at throwing any kind of ball. I can throw it in almost any direction too.

Sunday 23rd September
I can't remember what heppened today.

Saturday 22nd September
The long and sometimes tedious search for a Mandolin case continued today. At least I got to pull a lot of books off a shelf.

Friday 21st September
I had a haircut today. Most of my beautiful long hair has vanished. Mum says that it will grow back soon thoughl. It will get blonder too I think.

Monday 17th September
Dad was showing me how to juggle in the garden today - I thought it was the fnniest thing ever. I'm not sure how he managed to get those balls to stay up in the air. It didn't work so well when I did it.

Sunday 16th September
Today Grandma is here and I have been very grumpy for most of the afetrnoon, because I am so tired. On the plus side I have been doing lots and lots of singing.

Saturday 15th September
Today I went for a very long shopping trip with Dad whre we went into all kinds of music shops on the lookout for a mandolin case. We didn't find any.

Friday 14th September
There is no news today

Thursday 13th September
A person came to visit me today to work out why I don't say anything. Apparently I am naturally quiet and may one day just start talking if I do some practice.

Wednesday 12th September
There is no news today

Tuesday 11th September
Today there was much fun because Dad juggled in the garden. I was very excited and ran all about the place laughing and waving my hands in the air.

Monday 10th September
There is no news today. I am still small and quiet. Except for at night.

Sunday 9th September
I went out with Dad again today - this time we went shopping to a cafe where everything is brown. Dad had a little drink. I had not much except the admiring stares of all those around me.

Saturday 8th September
Today I went out for a good long walk with Dad - we went into all kinds of shops - my favourite was the music shop because there were many low shelves full of things to pull off.

Friday 7th September
There is no news today.

Thursday 6th September
Today I played a really good popping game with Dad. He can do it properly but I can do a fair approximation where I pull my finger out of my mouth and smack my lips together. It made Dad laugh anyway.

Wednesday 5th September
I sat in a lot of spilt milk today and made my pyjamas all wet. It's my own fault really because I love to spill milk.

Tuesday 4th September
There is no news today.

Monday 3rd September
Today I have been practicing a few new words. I'm not sure anyone knows what they are but I may have said "yes" and I may have said "in there". Time will tell.

Sunday 2nd September
Today just before we went home we visited Grandad and I had a really good go at catching Spartapus. He is quite quick on his feet though and he has learned his lesson since the last time I caught him. He is also much better at going down steps than I am and Grandad's garden is mostly all down hill with steps.

Saturday 1st September
I showed Grandma and Auntie Lord my special for the camera smile today and they were both very impressed. Especially with the amount of crunching my face has to do to get into the smile position.
