Thursday 31st May
I worked out two things today - one was how to get off MUm and Dad's bed properly and the other one was how to get down into the den down the three steps. The den is where ALL the good toys are.

Wednesday 30th May
I had a good long walk around in the park today. Everytime I tried to crawl Mum told me to get up and walk - something about the dirty floor i think. Anyway - I had a good old explore and a ride on the slide.

Tuesday 29th May
I went to a soft play area today and had at least some fun sitting in a big pool of green balls.

Monday 28th May
I was up lots last night keeping everyone awake. I think it's my teeth. I had a nice long nap this morning though to make up for it. Hopefully that means that I will be awake all night tonight too! It's fun in the night. Parents are easy to rule.

Sunday 27th May
My Grandad has come for a visit. I'm not entirely sure about him so I make sure that I smile at him from a distance. Just to be sure.

Saturday 26th May
There is nothing to report today. It is raining.

Friday 25th May
Today it's a sunny day and I spent the day in the garden crawling about. Sadly my clothes were ruined by the end of the day - there was a combination of mud and juice on them.

Thursday 24th May
The next door man has finally blocked up my escape routes with fences although I notice that they are both different heights than our other ones.

Wednesday 23rd May
Today I spread sand throughout the entire house. Rolling in the sandpit and then crawling around seemed to leave a thick enough trail. It took Mum and Dad several attempts to brush absolutely all the sand up.

Tuesday 22nd May
Today I hid the remote control for the tv and now I have forgotten where I hid it. Or even that it exists. Everyone has spent quite a lot of time looking for it (or something).

Monday 21st May
Today I had a big haircut and I wasn't really very pleased. My hair got everywhere - all down my back and especially in my mouth which was very annoying. In the end I was bribed with hairy chocolate to keep still.

Sunday 20th May
There is no news today.

Saturday 19th May
There is no news today. Although I enjoyed running through the garden.

Friday 18th May
Today we went swimming but as usual i was not allowed to partake in any actual water based activities. bah. I will have to make sure that I have a really good splash around at bath time.

Thursday 17th May
My favourite food trick at the moment, which I believe clearly demonstrates my distaste of a particular dish is to toss the offending item over the side of the highchair. This makes an attractive display on the floor. Like some kind of random art.

Wednesday 16th May
There is no news today because I have become willfull.

Tuesday 15th May
Today I practiced getting on and off my rocking cow a lot. I can do it like a cowboy, holding onto thecow's handles and everything. I have also learned to pick up a fair amount of speed when i'm walking. If things look like they are going to end badly I put the brakes on by sitting down quickly.

Monday 14th May
Today I enjoyed my first taste of the sweet sweet nectar of the gods that they call custard. By the time I had finished with my bowl I was coated from head to foot in a fine sheen of yellow. It took Dad ages to wash off in the bath. He even found some in my ear.

Sunday 13th May
I wore my favourite new shoes today. They ahve little lights on them theat flash when i walk around the place. I also playe dmy cvurrent favourite chase the ball game that I like to play with Dad. He throws the ball and I crawl after it. Today we added a special twist to the game whehn I played it with three balls.

Saturday 12th May
Today we went bowling with Dad. My role was supervisory - as usual. I'm apparently too much of a liability to have crawling around bowling lanes.

Later on I enjoyed playing my favourite ball chasing game. I'm becoming rather an expert in throwing balls in the right direction and then retrieving ones that are thrown for me.

Friday 11th May
Today was the day of the make up incident. I found a small tub of brown and managed to get the lid off. Obviously i had to have a feel about inside the tub and it felt rather nice. The next step was to spread the whole thing around the floor and walls. Sadly it turned out to be Mum's expensive makeup :(.

Thursday 10th May
Teeth.

Wednesday 9th May
I said my first proper actual word today. It sounded a bit like "teddy" It may actually have actually been teddy as I was holding a teddy at the time. I can also resuse this work to impress daddy. Teddy sounds a little bit like daddy too.

Tuesday 8th May
Today I have been recovering from my long journey yesterday and complaining about my teeth.

Monday 7th May
There was another long journey today, but before that I met some of my cousins. I was initially suspicious, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and did not push my arm out behind me in a "do not want" gesture.

Sunday 6th May
We are at Mama and Dad's house and I ahve been given a lot of new toys to play with! My favourite one is the one that makes noises when you poke balls into it. Hopefully I will be allowed to return home with it.

Saturday 5th May
Long car journey to who knows where. It's mama and Dada's house and they are all please to see me!

Friday 4th May
I played a trick on Mum today using my new walking skills. I secretly climbed up Peter's ladder and hid in his bunk bed for a few minutes. Mum nearly didn't find me but I made a laughing noise. She wasn't sure how I got there.

Thursday 3rd May
Today I pulled my greatest trick so far by allowing Andrew to walk me round the house all morning by holding my hands and then when he let go carrying on as if I had been walking all my life. Now everyone thinks I am great.

Wednesday 2nd May
Today I have been pretending not to be able to walk for most of the day. I will do a little tiny step and then fall over laughing.
