Tuesday 31st July
We went to Hatton today, which is always less fun for me as there is usually a lot of watching to do. Peter lost his drinking cup, I lost my dangly toy and then we lost Andrew. At least we found Andrwe.

Monday 30th July
I helped Mum sort out the washing in the morning and then we all went for a bike ride. Except me. The playground was too dirty for me so I had to do watching instead. Rubbish.

Sunday 29th July
Today Dad took me to see Grandad. It was very nice. I played with the cat. A bit too much and nearly got bited in the face. Luckily I was rescued. Cats don't like being picked up by babies.

Saturday 28th July
Hoorah! Dad came back today - it has been a long time since I saw him. I gave him my best hug.

Hannah and Callum also came - they were not as good as Dad but they were lots of fun too.

Friday 27th July
we had to go shopping for shoes today which is always a drag. uckily my feet are perfect so my shoes did not need changing. I got a balloon, but it burst which was very upsetting.

Maddy and Abbi came later on and brought me some sand to scatter around and eat. It is not very tasty. I also learned how to say THANK YOU.

Thursday 26th July
Today there was a really long muddy walk - I was in the back pack so it was less work for me than everyone else. Everyone got stuck and I wanted to but was not allowed.

Wednesday 25th July
There was a very long car journey today. I was very good and as a rewqard we ended up at grandma's house. I gave the house a once over and opened all the cupboards and then had a bit of a graze on Grandma's fruit bushes. There is also some very nice gravel.

I can do the sorting box with skillful ease.

Tuesday 24th July
There is no daddy today - he has gone somewhere. I had to sit in the car all day while Mum drove from house to house. I don't think she was looking for him though. I got let out at one house and then got into trouble for paddling in the mop bucket.

Monday 23rd July
Today i helped Mum do lots of avon things. as usual i was in an advisory capacity and I directed her packages into various boxes. It was very tiring i can tell you.

Sunday 22nd July
I got stuck in a trap today. peter dug a hole in the garden and i sort of stepped in it. Sadly it was mostly full of muddy water and it came up to my knees. I got very very dirty and very very wet.

Saturday 21st July
There is no news today - i was gumpy about my teeth though - I have lots of them now.

Friday 20th July
It was raining a lot today and as usual i had to suffer being in the pushchair with inadequate coverings. There was much ado about keeping me covered up, but my stuff still got wet.

Thursday 19th July
Today there was another sports day - I was supposed to be having a nap but instead I woke up and didn't go to sleep because there was a toddler race and I was in it. I got off to a flying start too, but then I fell over and cried a bit. Luckily Dad was there to help me and we finished LAST. but I did have the smallest legs. Dad finished nearly last too - he would have been last if the other man had not fallen over. Mum was our champion because she came first in her race - even before the giraffe lady.

Wednesday 18th July
Today I have had a lot to grumble about sue to me having 6 teeth coming through all at once. I am fairly grumpy and on edge and the least tolerant i have ever been in my life.

Tuesday 17th July
Today was sports day and while there were losses during certain races I am proud to report that I was te fastest baby that there was. I literally RAN all the way around the sports field as fast as my little legs could carry me AND i was the fastest baby in the world.

Monday 16th July
There is much preparation for tomorrow morning when it will be SPORTS DAY. Andrew - i notice - has been bought brand new shiny blue trainers. Andrew now believes he can run faster than any living human. We shall see tomorrow. I can toddle quicker than any living baby.

Sunday 15th July
None news.

Saturday 14th July
I went for a little paddle this evening in a tiny puddle. Peter and Andrew had been sliding along it all afternoon in the sunshine while I went to the shop with Dad. At least I was out of the sun for a little while. It was a bit too hot for me.

Friday 13th July
There is no news today.

Thursday 12th July
I made a terrible error today when I went outside on my own and accidently drove my wheely horse off a high precipice. well... it was only about a foot high but it was still a long way to fall.

Wednesday 11th July
I have run out of fruit on my favourite fruit bush in the garden. There are no more ripe raspberries left at all. I usually like to pick at least one or two per day but today they had all ben eaten. Probably by me it's true.

Tuesday 10th July
I have been having lots and lots of trouble with my teeth today resulting in all kinds of soreness.

I laughed today when Andrew was banging some tins with a big spoon for my amusement. Mum told hiim to "knock it on the head" while she was talking to Dad and he banged himself on the head with the spoon.

Monday 9th July
I have got plenty of new teeth coming through all at once. there are finally two extra ones on the bottom and two sort of back ones at the top of my mouth. There are no firm dates for them as I don't usually allow people to look in my mouth very much.

Sunday 8th July
Mum got the paddling pool and my special swim wear out today. The water was very cold and I only lasted a few minutes, but it was lots of fun. There was some danger too because Andrew likes to take a really long run up before he jums into the pool.

Saturday 7th July
I went shopping with Dad today and he let m hold all kinds of things before I dropped them carelessly either IN the trolley or out of it. My favourite thing was the toilet rolls because they were so soft and I rested my head on them.

Friday 6th July
I have a new word - it is "umma". 10 Points to the person who can decipher it.

Thursday 5th July
I saw a bee today. They are just like my toy bees, but much smaller and much buzzier. They can buzz like anything and I can imitate them! I make a reasonably good bee. I probably wouldn't win any competitions but I am good.

Wednesday 4th July
It has been raining today so there has been no playing in the garden. I haven't even been allowed to go and stand outside in the rain and look at the sky. This is something I love to do when it rains.

Tuesday 3rd July
There is no news today.

Monday 2nd July
I played on the sofa this afternoon with Peter and Andrew. It was great fun. I'm not really sure exactly what the game was about but it involved a lot of jumping and squeaking.

Sunday 1st July
Today I had practice walk on some reins going up and down and up and down the road. First i went up and down with Mum and then I went up and down with Peter and Mum and THEN I went up and down with Mum and Andrew. There was much walking fun to be had and I was sad when I had to come inside and be caged up again. It really is most frustrating not to be allowed to roam free at will amongst the cars.
