Wednesday 31st January
My temperature is even hotter today than it was yesterday.
Tuesday 30th January
No news because of illness.
Monday 29th January
There has been much ado about Andrew bvein gill today. He has been
very snuffly and coldy and has therefore not been at school. THis
has meant that he has been eating into my MUM time, as she has had
to look after him for most of the day.
Sunday 28th January
Today I went with Dad to Ben and Sam's house and had a lot of fun
with all of Sam's toys. There was one toy in particular that was more
fun than all of the other ones. It had a blower and
some balls that were nearly impossible to catch as they bobbed up
and down.
Later
on in the afternoon we went bowling, only I had to go to sleep and
missed the whole thing. It probably wasn't that much fun anyway.
Saturday 27th January
One of my pesky taking forever top front teeth has finally punched
its way through my gums. It didn't seem to hurt very much, but at
last! I no longer look like a vampire - now I look like a crooked
vampire.
Friday 26th January
I have been successfully racing around the room pushing various items
ahead of me as I learn to walk. The best things to push seem to be
things with no wheels. My specially designed walker does tend to run
away from me most of the time. Little chairs provide a bit of extra
support.
Thursday 25th January
The two doors in the hallway keep on being shut so that I can't get
in. It is most annoying. I have therefore made it my life's mission
to somehow get into these rooms. Luckily both of my brothers are very
forgetful.
Wednesday 24th January
I saw my very first snow today. I crawled out of the back door and
regarded it with much interest. Dad dipped my foot into it and made
a little footprint. I was not expecting it to be cold.
Tuesday 23rd January
There is not much to report today - I was very well behaved though.
Monday 22nd January
Today I went to a creche for the first time ever. My friend Emma was
looking after all the children and I had a lovely time.
In the
afternoon I did a lot of clopping around the house with my ring shoes
on.
Sunday 21st January
Today I have reached the grand old age of TEN whole months and my
teeth are still only just poking through. My aim for the next two
months is to get some more teeth and maybe learn to walk a bit, although
as I am always being carried around everywhere there doesn't seem
much point.
Saturday 20th January
I have a favourite trick and it is clopping around the house. I pick
up two of my favourite coloured rings and hold them in my hand while
I crawl around the floor. It make a pleasant clopping sound and everyone
laughs.
Friday 19th January
Today Dad took me on a visit to his office. The people there were
very nice and played with me a lot. The people in Dad's office were
very quiet. I think they were very busy or something.
Grandma
did a very good job pushing me round the park too, and Mum's friend
Maggie helped. Maggie's dog was very big, but showed no real signs
of wanting to eat me, which was nice.
Thursday 18th January
Today, perhaps my greatest fan came to visit - grandma. She has been
looking after me all afternoon and I sang her a very loud song.
Wednesday 17th January
Today I made everyone love me even more than usual by learning how
to kiss. It's a funny noise I can make by smacking my lips together
and laughing. Everyone thinks I look AND sound great when I do it.
In other
news, this diary is officially ALL mine!
Tuesday 16th January
Dad did my bathtime again today and we played the game where he whips
my socks and trousers of as quick as he can and a new game where he
did drums on my chest. It's a good game and it makes my voice go all
funny.
Monday 15th January
Because my top two teeth haven't quite popped through yet, but the
top sidey ones and the bottom middle ones have, it looks like I have
a lovely set of vampire fangs. I have been enjoying doing lots of
grinning today to show them off. They are not really very scary though.
Sunday 14th January
I have been saying "mum mum mum" again today. I ahave also
been trying to walk around a little bit. I managed to move my feet
a few times while Dad was holding my hands but eventually I fell over
a little bit. Dad caught me though so I was ok. IN other news a lady
that Grandma knows siad that I should go into modelling.
Saturday 13th January
Today I perfected my method of re-attaching the bottle lid to the
bottle. It is a snug fit, but now I have the hang of it.
In other
news I am off my food at the moment. Nothing will satisfy my needs.
Mum and Dad have to guess.
Friday 12th January
There is no news today.
Thursday 11th January
I have been learning to say a new word today. Impressively, this word
is NOT "hello" which I feel I have more than mastered. It
is "mumumumumumum". One of my parents is VERY pleased with
this development.
Wednesday 10th January
I have been feeling very jolly today as most of my four top teeth
have popped through. There is still one left that needs to force its
way through my gums and I'm hoping that this will happen very soon.
Still - I have rather an impressive smile now.
Tuesday 9th January
I had to sit very very patiently in the car today while mum delivered
all kinds of packages. It's a hard thing to do. I also had to wait
and wait very patiently after Dad gave me a bath whle he gave my brothers
a bath. There's a lot of waiting around to be done when you are small.
Monday 8th January
I had a terrible night last night and so did Mum and Dad. I kept them
all awake with y constant grumble. Eventually they gave me some medicine
for my teeth and I settled down.
Sunday 7th January
I am having lots of trouble deciding what I like to eat. Mostly I
am finding that I tend to prefer food from the biscuity end of the
stpetrum. Either that or it's yoghurt.
Saturday 6th January
I have been a little tiny bit grumpy today and I finished the day
with a fair amount of food in my hair.
Friday 5th January
My cough has come back and I am not very pleased about it.
Thursday 4th January
There is no news today.
Wednesday 3rd January
I have got my first standing up related collection of bruises today.
They are on my forehead and are all todo with standing where there
is no room to stand. I am finally getting the message that my head
does not end where my eyes are.
Tuesday 2nd January
I have been quite grumbly today what with all the teeth that are coming.
One thing I have been enjoying though is posting toys through the
bars of my playpen aka JAIL. If I'm quick I can build up quite a little
pile.
Monday 1st January
Today I have been extremely grumpy and grouchy and I have insisted
on being held all day.THis is because I have FOUR teeth coming through
all at once.
