: : Here is the news
for September : : ::
Saturday
30th September
I've
got a new thing to lounge around in - it's an inflatable ring with
soft soft material all around it. I can either sit right up in it,
or if I get a bit tired I quite enjoy just lying back and relaxing.
Friday
29th September
There
has been a grumpy day today.
Thursday
28th September
I
have been able to try out all kind of food recently. All served direct
to my mouth by Mum. I quite enjoy squeezing it back out of my mouth
once it's gone in. It's very funny.
Wednesday
27th September
I
have been very grumpy today. I'm sure there are teeth coming. I've
been feeling around in my mouth with my whole hand and plenty of dribble
comes out.
Tuesday
26th September
No
news today.
Monday
25th September
I
have now been upgraded so that I eat 3 proper spoony meals every day.
I especially love vegetables. As a guide, the redder the food is the
more stains it makes so I've been noticing that my favourite red food
has been missing for wuite a while.
Sunday
24th September
There
was another day at a park today. One day I'll be able to get out of
my stupid pushchair.
Saturday
23rd September
Today
I went to the park in the morning with Dad. I didn't go on any of
the swings or anything but I did sit in my pushchair while various
people looked at me.
Friday
22nd September
I
went shopping with Mum today and this time I sat in the shopping trolley.
I try really hard to keep my balance but sometimes one can slip down
to one side or the other if one sees something interesting.
Thursday
21st September
It's
my special ½ birthday today. I am 6 months old - or 183 days.
Happy ½ birthday to me. I celebrated with a pot of chicken
and carrot and then with some blueberry stuff. delicious.
Wednesday
20th September
There
will be no news today.
Tuesday
19th September
I
wore my very special Space Baby outfit today - complete with little
shoes. It has been handed down to me from brother to brother and now
I am its custodian. I immediately annointed it in the tradtional way
with dribble.
Monday
18th September
Today
I have been enjoying my new playpen. It's in the front room and it
keeps everyone out of my area. I can roll around and around in it
until I hit the bars. Then I roll in the other direction - there's
always plenty to do in my playpen.
Sunday
17th September
Dad
looked after me today while everyone else was at the cinema. I met
lots of new people and smiled at them all. There were a few problems
though. No milk bottle, so Dad had to buy one (just in case). No wipes
in the nappy bag, so Dad had to improvise. THen we got locked in a
car park. Thank goodness for the hacksaw.
Saturday
16th September
I'm
not sure what has hapenned but all my snoozes are out of whack AND
some people keep disturbing me when I've just fallen asleep. It's
not fair, really it isn't.
Friday
15th September
There's
no news today. I have a cough.
Thursday
14th September
I'm
still enjoying food, but not much else has happened. I can roll over
though, so I enjoy doing that a lot. I always roll off my mat though.
I need a much bigger mat.
Wednesday
13th September
I've
been very grumpy today - I had an early start and there was much to
do today and plenty of places to go. Iwas forced to go to all these
places from the comfort of my pushchair. It was exhausting.
Tuesday
12th September
Dad
came home today - it was very nice to see him.
Monday
11th September
There
will be no news today.
Sunday
10th September
Today
I had one meal of rice and one of apple and banana. I have to say
that food really is very tasty.
Saturday
9th September
Today
I enjoyed two different lots of baby rice for two different meals.
I still somehow managed to keep my existing meals though - it's not
as if I had to trade one for the other.
Friday
8th September
I
had two proper meals today. The first was yoghurt and fruit of some
kind. I wasn't very keen on that. The second one was milky rice which
is delicious. The trouble with it is that if you smile when you're
eating all the food falls out which can be quite inconvenient.
Thursday
7th September
I
did a bit more rolling over today but there is much more urgent news.
I have a very sore cheek. Perhaps there is a tooth coming. THere is
plenty of dribble. Who knows.
Wednesday
6th September
I
have managed to roll over, first onto my tummy and then back onto
my back. The only problem is that my arm gets wedged underneath me
every single time which makes the whole thing very uncomfortable.
I will have to learn SOME HOW to extract it.
Tuesday
5th September
I
am sorry to report htat i have a slight cough which has affected me
for the se last few mornings. Usually when I wake up I have a slight
tickly throat which seems to pass by the end of breakfast time. It's
a worry for us babies. cough / sick - it's a fine line. Usually the
cough ends with a resounding burp.
#Monday
4th September
Today
I went to the dentist. He gave me the all clear because I don't actually
have any teeth at all.
Sunday
3rd September
There
was a walk in the park today, but I missed it because I was asleep
- as usual. I have now mastered the art of rolling over. There remains
just one problem - I can't really get my arm out from underneath me.
So I get stuck.
Saturday
2nd September
A
long sleep in the car punctuated by nappy changes.
Friday
1st September
I
was a bit grouchy today - probably due to being pushed
hither and thither over rough terrain.
