: : Here is the news
for May : : :
Wednesday
31st May
I
had a word with Dad this evening about ear stuff. "see. if you
put your finger here (. then it's grim. BUT if you put your finger in
your nose first - AND MIX IT - then it's fine." I'm not sure he
was impressed.
Tuesday
30th
May
We
played in the garden with Grandma today.
Monday
29th
May
Today
there will be no news.
Sunday
27th
May
Dad
helped me play PING-PONG (or king-kong - or whatever it's called). He
did a lot of the hand steering and I did most of the hitting - making
sure only to hit with the red side of the bat.
Later
on Peter and I spent hours playing with a big cardboard box - or "rocket"
as we like to call it. Peter drew Pluto, Mars and OUR EARTH on the inside
of the box and then told me that it would take NINE years to get to
pluto in a rocket. That's a lot, but not as much as 14, which is my
highest ever number.
Saturday
26th May
Today
I wanted to do a lot of things that I wasn't allowed to do. One of the
first ones was that I wanted to watch Fireman Sam at 6.00am. Clearly
this was not allowed. I also wanted to climb up Dad's big ladder. This
wasn't allowed either. Instead I just wobbled it while Dad was up it.
Later
on I pretended to throw the "water" in Peter's cup that has
fake water around the edges at Mum. THIS time it actually had some water
in it.
Friday
26th May
I've
been really grumbly today.
Thursday
25th May
I
helped Dad mow the lawn today. I did all the raking. I did SOME of the
raking anyway. I also did most of the swinging the rake around my head.
Wednesday
24th May
There's
nothing to report.
Tuesday
23rd May
I've
been really good today - not a single time out step for me. Just as
well as I have been perfecting my cat impression. Cats do a lot of turning
round when they are in Mum and Dad's bed.
Monday
22nd May
There
is no news today - except for the fact that despite Dad's friends donating
over $20.00 to my cause, there is still no talking cat.
Sunday
21st May
I
have decided that what I really want around the house is a talking cat.
He would brighten the place up actually.
I
did some really good unassisted swimming today - chin up in the air
and legs paddling wildly - I can really motor along.
Saturday
20th May
We
we to Hatton soft play today and Peter really looked after me - he made
sure I was OK and waited for me to catch up with him at the top of all
the climby up bits. We also went down the big yellow slide together.
I
spent some of the afternoon pretending to be a bear - buzz lightbear
to be exact.
Friday
19th May
Jazzy
came to play with me today and usually I get on very well with her,
however today, when I was speaking to Dad on the phone, I had occasion
to tell him how furious I was with her as she had been playing with
my trains. I won't have it I tell you.
Thursday
18th May
I
have mostly been very cross today.
Wednesday
17th May
There
has been much ado today. Dad had to go away to London - I gave him a
final warning about going on the bridge, in case it fell down and off
he went in the NEW car. It's silver and very big. I have investigated
all the various buttons and doors before he went out. I even had a little
sit in it this morning before he drove off. He didn't come back until
past bedtime.
Tuesday
16th May
I
have discovered a big box of toys in Dad's office. There are some funny
games and even a box of Thomas the Tank Engine puzzles. No one knows
how they arrived. Not even Peter - I asked him.
Monday
15th May
There
will be no news today.
Sunday
14th May
Grandad
came to see us today and he was my best friend. I sat next to him on
the sofa and made him rub my foot in a friendly way. We also went into
the garden to play football. I was really good at kicking the ball straight
to grandad's fet and he was absolutely hopeless. Nevermind - I'm sure
that with practice he will be ok.
Saturday
13th May
I
had a lovely long sleep last night, interrupted only by people trying
to feed me. Sometimes they take great pains to keep me awake even if
I've falled asleep. AND they are always trying to make me eat all at
once. I'd much rather wake up every hour or so for a little snack.
Friday
12th May
Sleep.
Thursday
11th May
Eat.
Wednesday
10th May
I
have been enjoying my baths a lot recently - all relaxing and calming
- that's what baths are. The bit that really annoys me is the getting
dry and dressed bit - it always takes far too long.
Tuesday
9th May
There
will not be much news today as I was quite tantrumonius. Dad did give
me a shower this evening instead of a bath. I requested that it was
as cold as cold can be and then did a lot of shrieking. Lovely.
Monday
8th May
There
was lots of raintoday so we had to do a lot of staying indoors, which
is odd, because when its sunny we are allowed to go outside and get
wet.
Sunday
7th May
Today
Mama and Dada came to visit and they brought the best present ever with
them. It's a Thomas the Tank Engine loader thing with a Harold the Helicopter.
It all works by magic but I like to make it go round using my hands.
There are 14 bits of coal that come with it, but they somehow all managed
to roll away. I think Dad is going to find them with a broom.
We
showed Mama and Dada our whole house because they had never seen it
before. We also showed them our new baby. Mama said that everything
was lovely.
Saturday
6th May
Today
I have been quite grumpy. I got up very early and watched some Thomas
with Dad and ever since then I have been a little bit cross.
Friday
5th May
Dad
bought us a surprise home from work - it was a special mug that "looks"
as if it's full of pink / green liquid. Actually though, the pink /
green liquid is hidden away inside the actual mug - I think it's done
by magic, my various investigations could not detect the actual method
of the hiding. Anyway, Dad played a fantastic joke on us when he pretended
to throw th eliquid at us. I jumped out of my seat, but I wasn't very
amused.
Thursday
4th May
I
had another special night of turning and twisting in Mum and Dad's bed.
My plan generally is to try and rotate by at least 270 degrees every
15 minutes or so throughout the whole night. Mostly I find that the
best place to sleep is lying across both sets of Mum and Dad's pillows.
Wednesday
3rd May
There's
not a lot of news today. I was very good though.
Tuesday
2nd May
I helped
Mum wash the car today and when I say washed I mean that everything,
including me, got a thorough soaking. I don't seem to quite have the
hang of actually throwing a bucket of water without the entire contents
of the bucket going right up my nose. I happened time and time again
too, and every single time I looked surprised.
Monday
1st
May
Today
we went to Hatton again as we now have special passes. First we went
and held guinea pigs and then I looked at some pigs with Dad. After
that it was bouncy castles and muddy socks and then it was the bouncy
slide and WET muddy socks. After that it was a change of socks.
Later
on we went to the soft play area where it was almost too full to have
fun. I went down the big slide with Peter, but our weight difference
did not make for a safe or scrape free ride.
