Sunday 31st December
Today we managed to persuade Mum and Dad, by a combination of annoyance
and perpetual moaning to take us back to the soft play area. We did
have to pass the test of good behaviour at the playground first though.
Saturday 30th December
There has been much ado about grumbling today, and I have been talkiong
in my best worst voice for most of the day.
Friday 29th December
We went to a lovely new soft play place today - even though mum said
it was expensive, we still managed to get in. THere is a really big
blue slide and best of all it is just around the corner.
Thursday 28th December
There is not much news today - we had a floppy day - I watched Star
Wars. Or "Space Adventure" as I call it.
Wednesday 27th December
Today I have played with all my lovely toys and made sure that I drank
every drink with my special glasses straw combo. Peter was getting
a bit jealous of them, but miraculously an extra pair was found so
that now we can be twins.
Tuesday 26th December
Today we went to a really exciting place - WHERE THERE WAS SNOW. We
had toboggan rides and a few snowball fights for a little while -
There were even a few little slopes for us to slide down on the rubber
rings that were provided. The best thing was that It all looked as
if it was outside except it was inside!
Monday 25th December
TOday I woke up extra specially early because FATHER CHRISTMAS had
been and there were sock fulls of presents all over my bed! We spent
a long time opening the presents because FC uses ever such a lot of
sticky tape.
After
a while we went downstairs where the tree had magically developed
a massive pile of presents - all of them colour coded for easy delivery.
My three favourites were a little train set, a box full of thomas
trains and almost best of all a straw that turns into a pair of glasses.
It was a very exhausting day!
Sunday 24th December
There will be not much news today because I am so excited. We have
put raindeer fodd out at the back of the house and we have put carrots
and a mince pie out at the front of the house. Grandma is here, Hannah
is here and we are all set for christmas.
Saturday 23rd December
Grandma finally arrived today and although I'm still ill this means
that Christmas can only be just around the corner. Dad took Peter
and Paul out for a while to a mystery location so I had Grandma all
to myself. I was almost too tired for it though.

Wednesday 20th December
There is no good news about me being any better than I was yesterday.
Tuesday 19th December
Peter got to go to school today and I didn't he was upset because
he had to go and I was upset because I couldn't because I am still
ill.
Monday 18th December
I'm still very ill today. I was up for a long time in the night coughing
and coughing and coughing and ther eis goo coming out of my nose.
I spent the whole day in my pyjamas.
Sunday 17th December
There were no visits in the night because i was too
busy coughing and coughing and
coughing. forever and ever. I was really very ill indeed. I was forced
to spend the whole day in pyjamas again sitting on the sofa. I did
get to watch my favourite films though. CARs!!!
Saturday 16th December
I had a really bad night last night. I think I must
have coughed for about 10 hours
all through the whole day and the night. Everyone in the house is
ill -we're just hoping it will go away bewfore FC gets here. Anyway
- I didn't even get out of my pajamas today. Dad snuggled me up on
the sofa and that is mostly where I stayed.
Esther
and Hannah and Grandad came to see how I was at lunchtime and I went
a bit shy. They are staying for the night - maybe i'll be able to
Visit them in the night.
Friday 15th December
I'm still very ill today. I went to the Doctors in the afternoon and
he made me have banana medicine - it's horrible. I did get to stay
up in Mum and Dad's bed and cough all night though.
Thursday 14th December
I've got a really bad cough and I haven't even been to Dave's house
yet.
Wednesday 13th December
Today I did my school play for real. I had to sit on the knobbly end
of the bench, which made me wriggle a lot. To compensate I hummed
the tune to thomas the tank engine through all the songs and did lots
of "toooot toooot" noises.
Tuesday 12th December
Today I did my practice for the shool play. I was very good and sang
in all the right bits and did all the right actions.
Monday 11th December
There's no news today because I am very ill.
Sunday 10th December
It was a funny day today because Mum was not very well so Dad had
to be in charge all day. Eventually he took us out to funky monkeys.
I met a little friend and dad had a bit of a snooze on a big comfy
chair. I did a lot of running around and went very very pink in the
face.
Saturday 9th December
I went to the shops with Dad today and we bought something to mend
the shed with. I told him my own special kind of jokes for most of
the way around the shop. One shop had a special christmas lights display.
There were other children in there who I welcomed as friends.
Friday 8th December
There is no news today.
Thursday 7th December
Today I spent most of the afternoon lounging around in my Angel costume
- it's really very comfortable.
Wednesday 6th December
There is no news today.
Tuesday 5th December
I have got to be an angel at my christmas play. Not just being good
- I have to be an actual angel.
Monday 4th December
It looks as if I won't be visiting Dave just yet as I spent another
night in Mum and Dad's bed. Generally they are weak willed at night
and secretly |I think they like the fact that I keep them quite warm.
I'm like a little hot water bottle.
Sunday 3rd December
I tried my hardest to watch Cars again today but I
was much more tempted to empty out all my cars, trucks and railway
gear all over the floor of my DEN. MY den is my sacred space and now
it is full of cars and other things. Anyway - i played on my own upstairs
really nicely for a long time.
In the
afternoon Dad spent ages getting the christmas tree ready in its pot.
He cut up some little bits of wood so that he could wedge it in really
nicely. Anyway it seemed to be much more effective than last years
newspaper. Peter and I spent a good long time decorating it and now
it looks lovely. There are lights on it and everything and Mum helped
me put the fairy on the top.
Saturday 2nd December
We went to a really windy park today with mum and
we tried really hard to get some holly from a tree but it was too
spikey and
too hard to get down so Dad had to get it. Later on I asked dad if
I could go and visit Dave's house if I stayed in bed all night.
Later
on there was a real treat because someone in the house - i think it
was Mum - had bought a cards dvd. I said that I wished it would finish
soon so that I could watch it again.
Friday 1st December
Dad told me that if i stayed in bed that he would
take me to a cafe tomorrow morning, I told him that I wanted to go
to the brown
one with cardiacs in. he wasn't sure what I meant but he promised
to take me. I think he thought he was on to a fairly safe bet though.
