Thursday
31st August
We
visited Grandad again today and this time I heard Dad playing the
bagpipes which surprised me a great deal. He played some sort of nursery
rhyme.
Wednesday

I
have been making friends with Grandad. He is particularly keen on
cuddling me.
Tuesday
29th August
Another
day when I start off in one place, shut my eyes for a mere few hours
and then wake up somewhere else. It's like magic.
Monday
28th August
There
is no news today.
Sunday
27th August
I
spent most of today in my pushchair. I did have some people to play
with though. Dad, Mum and Grandma took turns in gurgling at me and
saying hello to me. It was far too windy for me on the beach.
Saturday
26th August
I
got washed in the tent this evening. I had to sit in the washing up
bowl. I deliberately kicked my legs very hard and soaked the tent.
I was removed from the water very quickly.
Friday
25th August
We
went to another beach today but I slept through the whole thing. Dad
read his book.
Thursday
24th August
I
was admired my an old couple on the beach today. They made all kinds
of funny noises at me. I humoured them by laughing a lot.
Wednesday
23rd August
There
is twoing and froing and things being packed in the car. Then it's
raining and I sleep. When I wake up we are somewhere else and in a
tent. CAMPING. I don't know what it means, but it probably means that
Mum and Dad have to work twice as hard as usual.
Tuesday
22nd August
I
went on a really long walk today. It was so long and so up hill that
it was lucky that I got carried for all of the way. When I got there
it was a picnic. As usual I was too small to eat any of the delicious
food. I had to lie on a rug and look at the shiny sky.
Monday

Today
we went for a visit to Grandad's house. He held on to me for ages
and spent some time smelling my hair. I did an eye bulging burp for
him as a reward. Then I fell asleep.
Sunday
20th August
I
have been greatly admired by grandma today. Everything seems to be
one big joke to her. The pushchair seems to be my new home as my bouncer
got left behind. I have been using it to sit up and have a look around
in.
Saturday
19th August
I
slept nearly all the way to grandmas house - except for the times
when I was smiling at the world in general. I only started getting
grouchy when we were driving up grandma's drive. I flashed my dimples
at her as soon as we arrived to great effect.
Friday
18th August

am so nearly 5 months old.
We are off
to see Grandma tomorrow. I think this may mean another long journey
by car. I am fairly stoic when it comes to these things though.
Thursday

I
have discovered my parents plan to go camping at the weekend. I'm
not entirely sure what this actually entails but I believe I will
have to forgo most of my comforts.

I have been the best behaved of all the people that live in my house.
*I* have not been arguing with anyone.

I
thought it timely to inform you all that I have two lovely dimples
in my cheeks that make my smile extra smart.
Monday

Today
we did not do very much. We are all still recovering from our long
journey home. I did least of all as I can't properly move around the
place so mostly I just lay around the place looking nice and smiley.

We
didn't do very much today because of all the resting that everyone
seems very keen to do. I did a lot of gurgling and lying on my back
holding my toes.
Saturday

It's
nice to see Dad properly - I've not seen him to cuddle for a long
time - almost a whole week in fact. But he was here waiting for me
when I got home. I gave him one of my special smiles.
Friday

Today
I was baptised and someone splashed water on me. Dad wasn't there
so Peter helped out instead. I was as good as gold and didn't even
mind one little bit.

Today
I slept through most things. A[[arently there was a beach which was
a bit blowy for me so I got tucked up in my pushchair. There was a
sealm a cafe a beach an uncle and a cousin. All of which were slept
through.
Tuesday

I got looked after by Mark and Dada. They both did a very good job.
They looked at me and smiled in the correct manner.
Monday

Everyone
else went to the beach where apparently it was very cold. I stayed
in the relative warmth of the car and talked to mama for several hours.
Sunday

Oh
wait! I was in the car for a very long time - sometimes awake and
smiling and sometimes asleep and now there are different walls to
look at. I really have no idea where I am.
Saturday

Today
has been a very quiet day for me. I spent a lot of it smiling and
gurgling at various people.
Friday

Today
I talked to Dad on the phone for the first time ever. He made encouraging
sort of sounds and I burbled at him for a few minutes. All in all
it was very entertaining.
Thursday

We
went to a sunny park today and all my comforting items were forgotten.
I was heartbroken (of course). I did calm down after our return home
though.
Wednesday

is no news today - I was asleep.
Tuesday
1st August
I
had to go to the health centre today for an undisclosed reason. When
I got there I found out that I was there to have INJECTIONS. I had
two of them, each worse than the last, one in each leg. I was not
happy about the whole incident.
