: : : Here is the
news for April : : :
Sunday
30th April
There's
not going to be any news today.
Saturday
29th April
I
helped Dad do the lawn mowering today. I held my fingers in my ears
and walked around beside him. I also helped kick the ball out of the
way several times. Sometimes I kicked it IN the way too, just to be
extra helpful when I kicked it out of the way. We also played sleepy
space rangers i nmy tent.
Dad
took me out to a cafe in the afternoon. I failed in the use of my straw
as I forgot about thestraw rule and tipped the cup up as well.
Friday
28th April
There
is some news today but I have forgotten it.
Thursday
27th April
I
managed to stay in Mum and Dad's bed last night by sneaking in very
carefully and lying really really still. No one suspected anything until
the very early morning by which time it was much too late to do anything
about it. I win!
Peter
told mum that I had pinched him today. It wasn't true though. I think
Peter would have got away with it if he hadn't embellished the story
so much. I apparently pinched him "right in the eye, in the black
bit".
Wednesday
26th April
Oh
there will be no news today.
Tuesday
25th April
I
have been quite naughty today, so there won't be much news, but YE GODS
I have enjoyed myself. I would almost go so far as to say that I have
enjoyed myself.
Monday
24th April
There
will be no news for me today. I spent the whole night wriggling around
in Mum and Dad's bed and no one was very pleased.
Sunday
23rd April
We
had such a busy day today. Dad got back just in time to take us to Ben's
birthday party at stomps. I had a jam sandwich and a gingerbread man.
There was also some lovely soft play action on the pirate ship.
Later
on Mum took us all swimming. I drank about half the pool again but I
did do a lot of very vigorous swimming using my little legs. I normally
like to point my chin up out of the water so that water doesn't get
in too far. Another favourite trick of mine is to use Dad as a spring
board for some little jumps.
Saturday
22nd April
Today
I missed Dad a little bit because he went to surprise Grandad on his
birthday.
Friday
21st April
Mum
is now mostly known as Elastigirl. Dad sometimes calls her super-mega-lightening
babe but I always try to correct him. I also enjoyed playing Dad's
new "zero point energy" game where he holds me above his head
and I stay very still - it's just like in the incredibles.
Thursday
20th April
We
went to Hatton AGAIN today. Apparently Dad splashed out for a years
ticket hte last time we were at Hatton's country wolrd of extortion
- 40p for animal food! FORTY PEE! Anyway - this time we went to the
soft play area where I had a lovely time.
Wednesday
19th April
There
will be no news today either. :(
Tuesday
18th April
There
will be no news today.
Monday
17th April
Today
we went to Hatton and we actually went inside the whole place. We went
on the tractors, the roundabout (i drove the bus - as usual), I milked
a wooden cow and then I held a guinea pig. We also went to the childrens
show. That's when Dad disappeared on the pretence of looking after Paul.
Sunday
16th April
We
played in the garden in the sunshine today. Dad got out his box of garden
toys and we threw various items around on the lawn. I found two juggling
clubs and pretended I was a train. Peter said we looked like funny clowns.
In
the afternoon we went on a little journey by steam train. It wasn't
very long but I got to hang my head out of the window as we went along
and the driver blew his whistle especially for me. I beamed a beam of
delight.
Saturday
15th April
Today
I helped Dad make some bread. I did a lot of the adding flour to the
big ball of dough that Dad rolls around. I also ate quite a bit of the
dough.
We
played outside again for a lot of the day and while Dad was mowing the
lawn he found a frog in the garden which apparently had narrowly avoided
being mowed. I poked it a couple of times to see if it would jump. It
did.
Friday
14th April
Today
was a daddy-stay-at-home day and we spent most of the day in the garden.
Dad found our tent that we used to have in our old house and Peter and
I used it as a base of operations for most of the day.
Thursday
13th April
Today
was a day of impeccable behaviour. Mum had to go to the doctors because
of her terrible sore throat. Peter was very well behaved. At least I
did not kick him in the brain.
Wednesday
12th April
We
had to ring Dad up today to tell him that we were being good. We weren't
being very good because when I was talking to Dad, Peter was shouting
in the back ground about how I had "kicked him IN THE BRAIN".
which wasn't entirely true.
Tuesday
11th April
It's
official - Peter and I are official super heroes. I'm not quite sure
who I want ot be, but DASH seems to fit me quite well. Obviously Peter
has to be called DOuble-Dash, as he can move twice as fast as I can.
We are enjoying being incredible.
Monday
10th April
There
will be no news today.
Sunday
9th April
Today
we made bread with Dad. I did a bit of stirring and a lot of flour licking.
Everytime Dad looked away I re-dipped my spoon into the flour. To make
sure I didn't get found out I repeatedly asked Dad not to look at me.
He kept looking though, so he kept seeing me eat flour.
Saturday
8th April
I
was a lovely sunny day today so we were shoe horned out into the garden
as early as possible. Dad called it a treat. To be fair I did do a lot
of jumping up and down on the wet trampoline which splashed water all
the way up to my ears. So at least I had some fun.
Friday
7th April
Today
we went to a restaurant in the park and met Dad. I ordered a sandwich
from the cafe servant and very carefully brushed all the cheese off
all of the bread so that it was at least edible. I also broke some small
pieces off and put them in a little napkin so that I could feed the
ducks after Dad had gone back to work.
Thursday
6th April
Today
I did a lot of outside jobs with Grandma. She helped me play in my little
playground and in return I let her sit on my train.
Wednesday
5th April
I
made some delicious cakes today with Mum. They had eggs on the top and
chocolate. I gave one to dad when he came in from work, and although
I assured him that the marks on the top which looked as if they might
have been made by a small boy's tongue, I think he thought that *I*
had been licking it a bit. I didn't like the egg though - I licked around
that bit.
Tuesday
4th
April
Today
I have been a very lucky boy because Grandma bought me some sand. At
the weekend Peter and I were forced to make PRETEND sandcastles without
any sand at all (which I might add we did quite happily for some hours).
Anyway now we have real sand in oue sandpit, and I have found that this
makes sandcastles all the more fun. Mostly because NOW there are actual
real sandcastles as opposed to invisible made up ones.
Monday
3rd
April
Grandma
is here to help today and I have had a lovely time with her. I have
also been pretending to be MRS. NAZBAT as well as BUZZ LIGHTYEAR, as
obviously they are one and the same person, except with a hat on. I
missed Dad today because he had to go to work, but I did speak to him
on the phone and I did let him dry me after bath time as a special treat.
Sunday
2nd
April
Today
we made a big beanstalk on a bit of paper and coloured in all the leaves.
Dad wouldn't tell us what it was for until we had finished it though.
It turned out to be a kind of "do what you're told" ladder.
Peter said that it wasn't fair as now Mum and Dad hace a wa to measure
our behaviour. I drew a tiny little version of me with extra long fingers.
I'm currently on the 4th leaf.
Saturday
1st
April
There
will be no news today.
