Tuesday 31st May
I had lots of fun today. First of all I managed to get hold of Dad's camera and I took a whole lot of pictures. Some of them weremore sucessful than the others. Looking at them later on there were quite a few of little red blurry fingers.

I lounged around for a long time in the hot swimming pool. There was also a cold plunge pool but I didn't fancy it very much as there is no sauna (like on our holiday).

Monday 30th May
I've taken to saying "OW" a lot to see how much attention I can get. Usually this is quite a lot, but I noticed that the amount decreased the more often I used this tack. Although, I also noticed that if I kept using this method even after I hadn't been received attention for the OW, then the POTENTIAL attention factor increased dramatically, culminated in an overall increased attention.

There was a very long and boring journey today, which I was very fed up about.

Sunday 29th May
Today I mostly played with Dad all day. He helped me ride my bike and evenmanaged to find Bolstrode and Bertie 5 times for me because I had put them down quite carelessly somewhere. Often I had put them inside the pull along thomas, which has a cabin at the back which is ideally suited for containing other small vehicles.

I wish I hadn't fallen over quite so much today.

Saturday 28th May
I have a very long journey to look forward to today, I expect it will take over 6 hours as it is a bank holiday. Yes. It did. I was quite grumpy for most of the time, but I'll get my own back this evening by either not going to sleep for ages or by waking up really early.

I've had a good explore around Mama and Dada's house and I'm glad to say that everything is still in it's proper place - My fire engine is safe and sound and all the little buttons still work. I pressed them 100 times each just to be sure.

Friday 27th May
Today in was a sunny day in balamory, so MUm got the paddington pool out from Dad's shed and filled it with lovely cool water. I enjoyed myself a lot, even though I was still very tired and grumpy.

Thursday 26th May
I am still very ill today and to be honest I'm getting a bit fed up of it. I fell straight to sleep at bedtime, but Dad and Mum paid in the morning when I woke up at 5.00 and didn't go back to sleep.

Wednesday 25th May
I am still ill today and I had an even worse night than usual. TOday I am exuding all kinds of goo.

I managed to do some painting in the afternoon though, I mostly enjoyed doing splash painting, which, because it is the most messy kind of painting available, is my favourite.

Tuesday 24th May
I'm still ill today, so I've been very bad tempered for most of the day.

I played a nice game with magnetic marbles with Dad though. We spent a long time rolling them down a little toy garage ramp.

Monday 23rd May
There will be no news today because I am feeling very ill and grumpy.

I did manage to get Peter to run to school when we were getting late by shouting "Peter! SUPER POWERS!". Every time I said it he ran faster.

Sunday 22nd May
Today I played railways with Dad. Dad built me a complex arrangement of track with some loops and spirals and bridges while I crashed trains through a tunnel.

Saturday 21st May
Dad tried to take us to a cafe today after he had swapped my Thomas dvd at the shop - it had stopped working for some reason. Anyway the cafe had a really big queue and I was spending a lot of time grumbling around and rolling over the large slidey sofa and annoying other customers, so Dad decided that we had better go. We did get to sit on the Thomas the Tank engine ride though. Disappointingly Dad only had 1 50p - A story I find highly unlikely.

Friday 20th May
It was very sad today because we had to say goodbye to our lovely bike trailer which Dad has been bravely riding around all week. THEN we had to say goodbye to our holiday house - it was all very sad. To cheer us up we went swimming and Peter and I DOMINATED the little babies slide. I managed to sneak lots of goes by wriggling in when no one was watching. A lady tried to stop me once but I evaded her grasp. Mum worked out why I always went on the RED light though - it's my favourite colour. Peter always went on GREEN and I went on RED. Obvious really.

We all fell asleep in the car on the way home and then stayed awake for hours at bedtime. It was a lovely holiday for one and all.

Thursday 19th May
I
made some soup for the squirrels today. The ducks had left some water in their bowl after they had eaten all the bread from it, so I filled the bowl to the top with delicious pine cones. Then we waited. Eventually 2 or 3 greedy squirrels came and ate most of the pine cones. They made a really big mess and left little pine cone core things lying around all over the place. They must have really liked the soup becuase they chased a couple of rabbits away from it.

I wouldn't go in the time out club again today so Mum and Dad took me for a game of bagminton. I was given TWO shiny red balls and a little bat to play with but I wasn't keen at all. I did my utmost to disrupt any fun that Mum was having by getting tangled up in a football net on purpose and then pretending to fall over and be hurt. Eventually I gave up and sat in a corner eating an apple, playing with my Thomas cards and generally being grumpy while Mum thrashed Dad at their game.

Wednesday 18th May
I
left the tap running in the bathroom today which was a mistake. Dad had put the plug in the sink to stop any potential spider problems and I washed my hands and then forgot to turn off the fast flowing hot tap. It wasn't long before the sink overflowed and the bathroom and hallway got flooded with scalding hot water. Dad bravely turned the tap off and then cleared up all my mess.

I got on with the business of feeding the ducks with a big bowl of water and some floating bits of bread.

Today I am exhausted. I fell off a bit of climbing frame today as well.

Tuesday 17th May
My best thing today was having my lunch at SEA. or at least on a little lake. I was Captain Andrew, a meaningless title as everyone else was called Captain too. Everyone was saying "eye eye" which confused me a little bit. I said it AND covered up one of my eyes as well just to make sure that I was doing the right thing. We all wore floating coats and all enjoyed our sandwiches.

I ruined something today but I'm not sure what it was. Mum and Dad left me in the time out club which was full of nice people and lots of lovely things to do. I didn't want ot go though so I cried a lot. Eventually Mum and Dad came to pick me up and took me on a lovely bike ride.

Monday 16th May
We are going on holiday this morning! Eventually we got there after Dad had gone the wrong way and after Mum had told Dad he was going the wrong way. Our house is very nice - I had a good explore. It seems to be surrounded by friendly woodland creatures.

We went swimming soon after and there are so many slides and pools of varying temperatures to swim in. I swam in a very cold one - just for one secon - while Dad dipped me in. After we wereverey wrinkly from being in the water we went to a lovely cafe for some tea. I didn't eat very much though as the tea was served right next to a soft play area.

Sunday 15th May
I have been very tired today, even though I didn't get up as early as I have been doing. I think the bike ride finished me off - it was little bit too far. I'm looking forward to our holiday because then Dad will be towing us around in a bike tralier which will be much easier for me.

We went to a cafe this morning with Dad and Gaye. I was very well behaved (unlike some). I had a whole end of sofa to myself and I impressed Dad's friend by putting my feet on my ears and then emptying out all of the sand from my shoes in little bits. I also tried a cake I didn't like and wiped chocolate on my shirt. Dad's friend wasn't keen on that bit. Apparently he flys rockets.

Saturday 14th May
It's been a busy day as usual today. There's been shops, and therefore new toy cars, and then a visit to a coffee place that's joined onto the shop. Dad's friend was there and was impressed that I knew what a Croissant was - and the word for it obviously. I had a lot of butter on my bit.

Friday 13th May
Today I got up very early again. No one was very pleased because itwas 4.30 in the morning - this makes about the 6th or 7th early morning for me. Call me whatever you like, but I like to see that the sun rises. Dad has been trying to impress upon me that I can only get up when my balamory lights switch on. I repeat what he says to keep him happy.

Thursday 12th May
There will be no news today because I was very grumpy.

Wednesday 11th May
We made some special biscuits today out of left over weetabix bits from our breakfast. We mixed them all up in a bowl with various other ingredients, and then I ate a big pile of mixture, which was lucky, because unfortunately they got a bit charred in the oven, so the mixture was the nicest bit.

I played Peter's snakes and ladders game, but my "player" was the dice, and then no one else could have a go. Peter didn't mind though because while I had the dice, Dadcouldn't move and Peter took he opportunity to move his man to the finish square. The game went downhill from there.

Tuesday 10th May
I woke up at 5.30 this morning and no one was very pleased. I made quite a lot of noise and woke Peter up too. Then Peter got up and started wandering around and everyone was less pleased. We didn't go back to sleep so there is a possible tiredness doom for us later on. I shall have to wait and see.

Monday 9th May
I had a lovely conversation with Dad this evening when he was putting me to bed. He said "I love you Andrew" and I said, "I luss you Daddy". Then he said. "I love you too." and I said "Yes you do." and that was the end of the conversation. I was so tired I was asleep in seconds.

Sunday 8th May
We went to the best ever soft play area today. It was in Stratford - it's called Stomps or something like that. There's a huge pirate ship in the middle of the big room and lots of slides of various sizes to go on. My favourite was the blue slide, because there was plenty of room for Dad and me to go down holding hands. Once we went down with Peter and Mum and we ALL held hands. No ice cream though, which was disappointing. There were secret sandwichs though, because we brought our own and we weren't supposed to eat them inside the place.

Saturday 7th May
As usual we went shopping with Dad this morning and as usual he got us a little tiny car as atreat, this morning though I got the best car ever as it was more like a plane than a car. It's all I've ever dreamed of in a toy and much more. I hope I can remember where I've put it. Recently I've begun to hoard my favourite cars and hide them in a corner of the sofa. Mostly they are my motorbikes.

In the afternoon we went to the playground in stratford where we had a lovely time. We had a few gos on the zip slide, but there was too big a queue so I sat in the little house for ages making Dad cups of pretend tea and even some pretend blue icecream. We had to leave fairly soon after we got our icecreams though because of all the stormy weather. It was blowing sand into my icecream. Dad said he would look after my icecream while I got into my car seat. When I got it back it was greatly reduced.

Friday 6th May
We played a lovely game today. We put our little tent up in the garden and placed it so that the end of the slide went through the door. Then we slid down the slide and into the tent. We had some cushions in there just in case and to prevent injury. To create injury we hid under the cushions while the next person to take a turn on the slide slid down into the cushions.

Thursday 5th May
Dad met us at the park after work today. After he had pushed us on the swings he took us home along the canal towpath. I counted 15 ducks although there may only have been 5. Dad says that there were 5, maybe I counted a few of them twice.

Wednesday 4th May
Dad told me that he had really needed me at work today as he had some very special sorting out jobs to do. "Reeeally?" I said, in a hopeful way. then I told him that we *would* go to work together, but that it would just be me and him and not Mum and Peter. I'm sure they will do other things instead.

Tuesday 3rd May
I made some Merangues today. I used my special whisk and some egg whites. I whisked and whisked for agesand then Mum added some sugar. The results were sweet and delicious.

We had tea in the living roomtoday on the little table. When Dad wasn't looking Peter put ALL of his carrots onto my plate. Dad looked up and said "Oh Peter! Did you eat all of your carrots? what a good boy". Peter looked very pleased with himself and said "yeeees". Later on Dad noticed that I had a whole heap of carrots on my plate and then he asked peter if he'd put any carrots on my plate. I said "yes he did". Dad din't seem to mind very much though.

Monday 2nd May
I had a terrible night last night - mostly because I ate two plum stones (stone-ins). I think they gave me a very sore tummy. Anyway - I was up from about 2.00am until the morning. I recovered quickly though and was up and about and all bright and breezy - unlike Mum and Dad.

We went to a special farm today which was quite far away, but not as far as Grandmas, although I thought we might be going there because it was in the same direction. There was a great big playground to play in and I climbed nearly all the way to the top of the climbing wall - I had to stop for rest at the convenient height of Dad's shoulder. I sat on it with my feet on the wall and my hands still gripping onto the special climbing blocks.

Mum took me for a lovely ride on the tractors. She had to help by pushing me, but that kept her occupied for a very long time. Later on a pig tried to eat my pushchair wheel.

Sunday 1st May
We went to Funky Monkey's this morning and to my joy it was practically empty so we had the run of the place. Dad even bought us an ice cream to cool us down as we had become very hot due to the unabating running that we were doing.

In the afternoon we walked down the canal where there were so many canal boats that I was sure that I would run into Neal and Rudiss and Jim. Sadly they were not in evidence, so we had another ice cream.
